The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a background in cat grooming or veterinary assistance, along with a genuine affection for our feline companions. You should be skilled in handling cats with care, possess a keen eye for detail, and have the ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
At Purr-fect Grooming & Health, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at keeping our cat clients happy and healthy. These include but are not limited to:
- Grooming cats, which involves bathing, drying, brushing, and styling their fur
- Performing nail trims and ear cleanings
- Assisting with basic veterinary procedures under the supervision of a veterinarian
- Maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment
- Providing a comforting presence for cats during their stay with us
Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; formal education in animal science, grooming, or a related field is a plus
- At least one year of experience in cat grooming or a veterinary setting
- A calm and patient demeanor, especially when dealing with anxious or difficult cats
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
- The ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
