Shrimp: 5 pieces

Deer Bone Marrow: 5 small pieces

Lamb: 1/4 pound

Preparation Steps

Step 1

Rinse the shrimp, beef tendons, and lamb thoroughly.

Step 2

Devein the shrimp, cut the beef tendons into small segments, and chop the lamb into bitesized pieces. (The shrimp can also be cut into pieces and set aside for later use.)

Step 3

Pulse a portion of the shrimp, the chopped beef tendons, and the lamb in a food processor. Reserve the remaining shrimp for later.

Step 4

Crack an egg into the food processor while blending. Continue to process until combined.

Step 5

Remove the mixture from the food processor once it's well combined. Aim for a texture that's not too finely ground, with some chunky pieces that can be picked up with chopsticks.

Step 6

Place the deer bone marrow in the center of the dish. You can either steam the shrimp whole or blend them into the mixture before steaming. Cover and steam for 15 minutes, and your dish is ready to be enjoyed!
