Implementing a nobeg training for dogs involves the use of a prong collar, commonly known as a "Pchain," to assist in the process. It's crucial to pay close attention to the proper fitting of the collar and the timing of corrections and rewards.

Let's first understand the steps involved once the food area is set up. Begin by helping your dog wear the Pchain and attach the leash. The correct way to wear the Pchain is to have the pronged end facing towards you, as you should be the one leading the way.

Once the Pchain is properly in place, take hold of the leash and guide your dog past the food area. If the dog sniffs at the ground or rushes towards the food, immediately pull the leash to apply pressure and deter them from eating the dropped food. As soon as the dog stops and refrains from eating, promptly lead them away from the area.

Remember, it's essential not to reward the dog during this phase. If you do, the dog might think that every time they eat the dropped food and you stop them, they'll receive a reward. This could lead to an increase in the dog's tendency to eat from the ground.

After correcting the dog for eating the dropped food, take them back through the food area again. As you pass by, if the dog doesn't attempt to eat the food, that's the perfect moment to offer a reward from your hand. By using this method consistently, the dog will learn that eating from the ground brings pressure and no food, while refraining from doing so can earn them something even better, effectively correcting their habit of foraging on the ground.

When addressing a dog's tendency to scavenge, it's important to vary the types of food in the training area and switch up the training locations. Also, in everyday life, avoid placing food on the ground for your dog to eat.
