Dog Conjunctivitis Battle: My Healing Journey & Insight

Just a few days ago, my beloved dog suddenly developed conjunctivitis, characterized by red, swollen eyes and an increase in discharge. Witnessing its discomfort was heartwrenching, and it filled me with anxiety and concern. This experience has given me a newfound understanding of canine conjunctivitis and also highlighted the challenges many pet owners face with similar issues. That's why I've decided to share my dog's story in the hope that it might offer some assistance to fellow pet guardians.

It was one morning when I awoke to find that my puppy, Momo, had a thick layer of eye boogers around her eyes and was shedding tears excessively. Her eyelids were also inflamed, and I was startled upon seeing this. But quickly, I composed myself, knowing that I had to act swiftly to identify the cause and treat the condition to alleviate Momo's suffering.

I consulted with several dog trainers and medical friends, all of whom suspected that a foreign object had entered her eye, triggering the conjunctivitis. They recommended using eye drops to see if the symptoms improved. That's when I remembered I had purchased a pet eye solution online called Bailongming (Neomycin Sulfate Eye Drops) during a promotional sale. I had thought it prudent to have some medication on hand at home. So, I found the drops, carefully read the instructions, and determined they were suitable for Momo's condition. I administered them, and I must say, they were a lifesaver.

Before the medication, Momo's eyes were extremely red, and they became so swollen that she could barely open them. I was quite worried, contemplating the possibility of taking her to the vet if the eye drops didn't work.
