Age of Settling for Ragdoll Cats: When They Fully Matur
Ragdoll and Burmese cats are renowned for their late maturity and impressive size. These majestic felines reach their full coloration only by the age of 3 to 4 years. As they grow, Ragdoll cats tend to gain weight progressively, typically adding about 1 pound per month, reaching a robust 8 to 10 kilograms around their first birthday. Females are generally a bit smaller in stature compared to males. Around the 8month mark, Ragdoll cats will begin to show signs of estrus, indicating their physiological maturity. However, their bodies are still maturing, and it's not until they reach 3 to 4 years of age that they will fully cease their growth. Fully developed Ragdoll cats can attain a length of about 1 meter, showcasing their striking and endearing presence.
