If the infection is due to contact, it's advisable to wash your dog with a Fucantant antibacterial and skincare shampoo after each outing to prevent infection. For environmental exposure, which is often related to the dog's sleeping area, such as a doghouse, failing to clean it regularly can lead to a proliferation of pathogens. It's therefore crucial for pet owners to clean the doghouse thoroughly, such as washing it with hot water and then leaving it out in the sun to dry for two days to kill any potential pathogens.
