Reason One:寄生虫 from the Owner's Outings

Even if our pets stay indoors, we, as their human companions, are bound to venture out. Whether we walk through parks, grassy areas, or even play with other dogs, we can inadvertently bring home parasites. These unwanted guests can then be transmitted to our pets, even those who never leave the house!

Reason Two: Bites from Household Pests

While pets have their thick fur as a natural shield against mosquitoes, the thinner patches can still be targets for these pesky insects. Such bites can lead to infections, such as heartworms, from parasites that these pests carry.

Reason Three: Exploring Dirty Havens

Cats and dogs often have a penchant for exploring the nooks and crannies of our homes, like under sofas and in beds. These areas might not be as clean as we'd like, harboring dust and grime that can expose our pets to parasites.

Surprisingly, even pets who never step outside can still be at risk of contracting parasites due to these reasons!

Remember, pet owners, it's crucial to implement effective mosquito control measures in your home and to regularly schedule deworming for your furry friends to keep them safe from these unwelcome intruders.
