Part 2: When Can Kittens Start Eating Dry Food?

Typically, kittens can start on dry food around 3 months of age. At this stage, you can introduce them to kittenspecific dry food. In addition to dry food, consider supplementing their diet with nutritional supplements or goat's milk powder to ensure they receive adequate nutrition, as kittens require a lot of nutrients during this growth phase. However, since their digestive systems are still developing, it's recommended to feed them three to four times a day and to stick to a consistent feeding schedule.

Part 3: How to Make Homemade Wet Food for Cats

Start by washing chicken, carrots, and fish thoroughly. Boil the chicken and carrots in some water until they are soft. Then, add the cleaned fish and simmer until the liquid is reduced. Once the liquid is almost gone, remove the food and let it cool. Chop the chicken and carrots, and mix in the remaining liquid. Your homemade wet food is ready! Keep in mind that this is just a basic recipe, and you can customize it with your preferred ingredients.

Remember, homemade wet food can spoil relatively quickly. If your cat hasn't finished eating within six hours, it's best to discard it. Regardless of whether you're feeding your cat dry or wet food, always ensure they have access to fresh water to drink after meals.
