Different cats have varying thresholds and stress responses, which lead to three distinct phenomena:

1. Cats with high thresholds may show no reaction at all when they hear the sound of梳子齿 being brushed!

2. Cats with moderate thresholds might exhibit excitement, such as sticking out their tongues.

3. Cats with low thresholds, however, may become overwhelmed and vomit immediately.

Why are cats so sensitive to sounds? A quick search on Baidu reveals that cats have an incredibly acute sense of hearing, primarily due to the unique anatomical and physiological structure of their auditory organs. The ear, which is the auditory organ, is composed of the outer ear, middle ear, and inner ear. Cats can hear sounds ranging from 30 hertz to 45 kilohertz, whereas humans can only detect sounds between 20 hertz and 20 kilohertz. Moreover, cats' ability to localize sounds is also superior to that of humans!
