The Origin of the Ghost Dog:

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the People's Liberation Army employed a military dog named "Yeguo," a type of Malinois, in their valiant battles. One night, the PLA was forced to retreat repeatedly due to a sudden attack by the enemy. As the army was溃败, the military dog "Yeguo" charged towards the enemy, determined to use its strength to drive them back, despite knowing it was a nearsuicide mission. Suddenly, a thunderous explosion shook the grassland, sending dust everywhere and several enemies flying into the air. After the war, the army searched for Yeguo's whereabouts, hoping to find even a piece of its fur, but to no avail. Yeguo vanished from the battlefield, leaving no trace.

Following this incident, the PLA often gained military intelligence or benefited from it, and there are legends that each time the enemy launched a surprise attack, they could hear the barking of a dog, or see enemy sentries being bitten by the dog, or enemy warehouses catching fire, and many other incidents. From then on, the legend of the "Ghost Dog" spread between the PLA and the enemy. While we cannot verify the credibility of this story, it does highlight the combat capabilities of military dogs. Their intelligence, alertness, and agility are exceptional. The character of these dogs is loyalty and obedience, dedicated to their owners and their country.

Currently, Malinois are widely used in criminal investigation, drug enforcement, public security, and rescue operations, and they are often compared to German Shepherds in terms of their capabilities. This is why Malinois are also known as "Ghost Dogs," and they deserve our respect. They have contributed to creating a better living environment for us.
