Have you ever noticed how, whenever a large group of people steps out, whether it's a family pet or a stray, they always seem to gravitate towards you first? It's as if the dogs, even the ones that others describe as fierce, can sense your presence and immediately roll over to beg for a pat.

It's a blessing to be someone who's chosen by dogs. But, what makes them pick you over others? Some might think it's just instinct, that a dog will follow the one who offers a treat. However, the truth is, dogs are much more perceptive than we give them credit for.

In a fascinating experiment conducted by a South Korean program, one person played the role of a mean character, while another portrayed a kind one. The outcome was to see which one the dogs would choose to approach.

The "good person" showed kindness to the young man, while the "bad person" gave him a light punch. The little creatures watched silently, taking it all in.

It was the tiny Pomeranian that first darted towards the "good person." When a Husky appeared, it initially ran towards the "bad person," but after a moment's contemplation, it turned back to the embrace of the "good person."

In a new round of testing, a Golden Retriever, known for its gentle nature and affection towards everyone, was introduced. Surprisingly, the Golden Retriever also chose to run towards the "good person," despite its reputation.

To ensure the experiment's objectivity, the positions of the "good" and "bad" people were changed. This time, the "bad person" was more aggressive, and the Husky, which had previously hesitated, boldly rushed towards the "good person."

Dogs are capable of gathering information about a person's attitude and tone to decide whether to approach them. So, just like us, dogs think and judge before choosing who they like.

Now you know how to win a dog's affection, don't you? It's your kindness that earns their trust and love.

Dogs aren't as simple as you might think. They know exactly how you treat them, and how much you care and show kindness. They'll give you their full dose of affection in return.
