Caring for a Pug: Essential Tips for Pug Care & Raising
Section 1: The First 45 Days
After 45 days, the new owner can take the puppy home to be raised. Remember to vaccinate the puppy in advance and ensure the living environment maintains a temperature of no less than 22 degrees Celsius. During this period until the puppy is two months old, the puppy can be fed three times a day. At this stage, the puppy requires ample sleep to support its growth, so the owner often keeps it in a kennel. The puppy can play for a while before meals and then returned to the kennel after eating.
Section 2: Two Months
At this point, the puppy should be fed twice a day, focusing on fewer but more frequent meals to aid in its growth.
Section 3: Three Months
By this stage, it's appropriate to bathe the puppy, using a powerful hairdryer to thoroughly dry its dense fur. The puppy can now be fed three times a day. The robust jaw of the eightbreed dog makes it suitable for hard kibble. Feed the puppy two meals of dog food and one meal of chicken. This is a highly active period for the eightbreed puppy, enjoying running and jumping around. However, the puppy's bones and joint cartilage are still developing, so the owner must monitor activities, avoiding prolonged jumping. It's crucial to ensure the puppy's bones grow healthily to prevent knee misalignment.
Section 4: 4 to 5 Months
Pay attention to the puppy's teething phase. Some puppies may experience a loss of appetite during this time. Switch from hard kibble to soft kibble, and once the teething phase is over, revert back to hard kibble.
Section 5: 6 to 8 Months
The puppy should now be fed three times a day, with additional amounts based on its level of activity. A healthy eightbreed dog should have a robust physique, strong bones, and welldeveloped muscles. This is a great time to take your puppy for walks on the street, allowing them to see new things and enjoy their lively nature. However, be mindful not to overexert them; a gentle walk on a leash is ideal.
