2. Coughs caused by parasites can be treated with Pranadox, which is used for deworming. If the cough is severe due to parasites, it can be combined with Furosemide.

3. Coughs caused by heart conditions often present as persistent coughing that does not respond to cough medicine and recurs frequently. Such coughs require veterinary evaluation to determine if they are related to heart disease.

During the treatment of coughs, it's crucial to protect the dog from cold drafts and to avoid letting it sleep on the floor or in front of an air conditioner. Ensure the dog is kept warm at all times; if it prefers sleeping on the floor, provide a carpet to prevent chilling. Additionally, if the dog has a diseaselike cold, supplementing its diet with nutrients can help boost its immunity and resistance during treatment.
