Generally speaking, it is considered the optimal time to begin training dogs after they have completed their full vaccination series, around the 3 to 4month mark. Starting training too early can be detrimental, as the puppy's body may not be fully developed. Conversely, delaying training can lead to the development of numerous bad habits, which may then require additional time and effort to correct.

Training should be conducted gradually and at a pace that allows for consistent progress.

① Begin with basic training commands, which should be simple, such as 'sit', 'shake', 'heel', 'wait', 'go potty on command', and 'leave it'.

② Around the halfyear mark, introduce light running and jumping exercises.

③ From nine months to over a year, dogs can engage in more advanced obstacle training.

The fastest period of growth and development for dogs typically occurs before their first birthday. This is also widely regarded as the best time for training.

Dogs can be trained at any age, but it requires more energy and patience compared to training during their puppyhood.

Lastly, a reminder to all: Your dedication and patience are key to successful training. Always consider your dog's capacity to learn. It's recommended to spend 5 to 20 minutes on each command, as longer sessions can be counterproductive. With consistent daily practice, even in short increments, your dog will eventually respond to your commands with conditioned reflexes.
