Understanding the Reasons Behind Your Parrotfish's Lack of Activity

1. Oxygen Deprivation:

Parrotfish may not be as active as usual due to a lack of oxygen in the water. These fish naturally have only half a gill, which makes their control over water flow less efficient, and thus, they require more oxygen than other fish.
