While it may seem like cats are always napping, they're not actually in a deep sleep all the time. Cats, being natural hunters, are mostly in a light sleep state. It's only when they enter a deep sleep phase and feel completely at ease that they can snore with peace of mind.

Overweight: Excess weight can obstruct the airways, making breathing difficult and causing snoring.
