Effective Strategies for Removing Fleas from Your Home and Your Dog

1. Utilize Orange Peels

Choose fresh orange peels, finely chop them, and wrap them in cheesecloth. Squeeze the juice out and dilute it with 500 grams of boiling water. Allow the mixture to cool, then spray it directly onto your dog or dampen a towel with the solution and wrap it around your pet. Fleas on your dog should be eliminated within two hours.

2. Employ FleaKilling Soap

Use a commercial fleakilling soap to bathe your dog. First, wet your dog's coat, then apply the soap and leave the lather on for about ten to twenty minutes before rinsing it off. This method can quickly rid your dog of fleas.

3. Lemon Juice Treatment

Extract fresh lemon juice, including the pulp, and mix it with boiling water at a ratio of 1:2. Wait for the mixture to cool before applying it to your dog.

Therefore, in addition to medication, a thorough cleaning is essential to eradicate fleas.

7. Cleaning Washable Items

Wash anything that can be cleaned in the washing machine with hot water. This includes items your dog uses frequently, such as beds, blankets, leashes, and plush toys. It's best to use a dryer to sanitize these items after washing, as high temperatures effectively kill fleas, their eggs, and larvae.

When you notice fleas on your dog, act promptly to eliminate them. This will protect both you and your pet from infection.
