Section 1: Foods That Bichon Frises Should Avoid

It's quite astonishing to realize just how many things Bichon Frises cannot eat. Naturally, there are three categories of foods that are strictly offlimits: expired, toxic, or harmful items. This rule applies not just to dogs, but to all animals and humans as well. Additionally, uncooked or underfrozen meat products should be avoided, as they contain high levels of Salmonella and E. coli. These bacteria can cause a range of gastrointestinal issues when ingested by your furry friend. Sharp bones from chickens, ducks, and fish can also be dangerous, as they can easily be broken by the dog and become lodged in the throat or esophagus, leading to intestinal damage. Certain foods high in fats should not be given to Bichon Frises, as they can easily lead to pancreatitis. High salt content is also a concern, as studies have shown that dogs consuming excessive amounts of salt over time can develop kidney problems. Moreover, foods with strong刺激性, such as garlic, onions, chocolate, and overly alkaline tea, should never be given to Bichon Frises.

Section 2: How to Feed a Bichon Frise

Despite their small stature, Bichon Frises are quite active and require a balanced diet to maintain their daily energy levels. It's essential to provide them with a sufficient amount of food and nutrients, including calcium, proteins, vitamins, and minerals. You can offer lean meats like chicken breast to supplement their protein needs, or mix dog food with lean meats, vegetables, and add calcium powder, fish oil, lecithin, and various vitamins for a wellrounded diet.
