Section 1: Causes and Symptoms of Canine Fungal Skin Diseases:

Canine skin diseases often arise from playing in dirty or damp environments, leading to fungal infections. The most common type of fungus is Microsporum canis, which is widespread globally and responsible for over 70% of skin disease cases in dogs.

This type of fungus typically causes small, circular scabs, known as ringworm, on the skin's surface. Lesions with crusty sores can appear anywhere on a dog's body, but they are most frequently found on the ears, face, neck, and tail. These skin lesions are primarily crusty and do not involve hair loss. In cases with few lesions, especially in longhaired dogs, they may not be detectable. However, other types of fungal infections can lead to symptoms like hair loss and redness.

In addition, canine fungal skin diseases can be transmitted to humans. Commonly, the infection occurs on the hands, lower legs, and feet of people who come into contact with the dog. In some cases, it can also appear on the head, causing tinea capitis, a type of ringworm affecting the scalp.

Section 2: Prevention and Treatment Measures for Canine Fungal Skin Diseases:

1. Begin by shaving your dog's fur completely. This makes it easier to apply medication and ensures that all affected areas are identified, reducing the risk of missed spots during treatment.

2. Use Fenon Skin Spray and Fuan Tai Compound Ketoconazole Ointment. Apply the spray and ointment daily to your dog, maintaining consistency for a period of time. With continued use, your dog's skin disease will gradually improve, and areas with hair loss will start to regrow.

3. Maintain a clean living environment for your dog. Regularly disinfect and clean your dog's living area and common toys, reducing the threat of bacteria and fungi in the environment. Opt for suitable dogspecific disinfectants and cleaning agents.

4. Keep your dog's body clean by using a dogspecific shampoo for regular baths. After each bath, dry your dog's fur thoroughly to prevent moisture from promoting bacterial growth and causing skin diseases.

5. Ensure a balanced diet to enhance your dog's immune system and resistance. Choose natural ingredients or expertly formulated diets, along with cooked vegetables, meats, and fruits. Alternatively, supplement with multivitamin B complex to boost skin immunity and hair care.

6. Be aware that canine fungal skin diseases can easily spread to individuals with weakened immune systems, such as children or the elderly. Some pet owners may contract ringworm from contact with infected dogs. Therefore, it is important to practice isolation during treatment.
