Firstly, it's essential to ensure proper care for your rabbit:

1. Maintain a Dry and Clean Living Environment: Rabbits are creatures of cleanliness, and a dirty, damp environment can be quite uncomfortable for them. More importantly, living in such conditions can expose rabbits to various pathogens and increase their risk of illness. Therefore, it's crucial for rabbit owners to keep their rabbit's habitat and surrounding area dry and clean at all times.

2. Bathing: Many pet owners, either due to a lack of understanding of rabbits or an excessive focus on their appearance, often bathe their rabbits. This is actually detrimental to the rabbit's health, as it disrupts their natural living habits and can weaken their immune system, making them more susceptible to illnesses like colds. Generally, rabbits do not require frequent baths; once every two weeks is considered quite frequent. If your rabbit is not particularly dirty, it's best not to bathe it. When you do need to bathe your rabbit, always use clear water, and if necessary, use only rabbitspecific grooming products. Never use human grooming products or anything else!

3. Fur Care: A rabbit's fur is one of its most adorable features. The soft and smooth texture of their fur is something many pet owners cherish. To maintain this, owners must provide proper care, which includes brushing the fur. However, this care should be done with care. Use a brush specifically designed for rabbits, and gently comb from head to tail, from back to belly, following the direction of hair growth. The frequency of brushing should not be too high and should be tailored to the rabbit's breed and the season of shedding. Longhaired rabbits, like Angora rabbits, may require brushing 34 times a week, while shorthaired rabbits can be brushed once every six months.

4. Nail Care: Pet rabbits need regular nail care. If their nails become too long, they should be trimmed promptly to prevent injury to both the rabbit and humans. However, when trimming the nails, be cautious not to cut too short or accidentally cut into the soft flesh beneath the nail, which can lead to injury and infection. If you accidentally hurt your rabbit and it starts bleeding, apply iodine tincture with a cotton ball to stop the bleeding and disinfect the wound.

5. Tooth Care: Rabbits' teeth continuously grow throughout their lives, and overgrown teeth can cause discomfort and significantly affect their ability to eat. In the wild, rabbits gnaw on objects to wear down their new teeth. Even domestic rabbits need to be provided with hard wood sticks or other dental chews to keep their teeth in check. If the overgrowth is severe and affects their eating, it's important to take your rabbit to a veterinarian for dental treatment.
