Academic research into feline stomatitis cases directly treated at 83 domestic veterinary clinics has revealed that the condition is most prevalent in adult cats, particularly those aged between 1 to 3 years. Purebred cats and shorthaired domestic cats are found to have a higher incidence rate.

Despite ongoing uncertainty regarding the exact causes of stomatitis, the primary suspects are infections or immunerelated diseases, with many now linking it to the feline calicivirus infection.

As of now, there is no specific treatment available. In China, the most common approach involves surgical tooth extraction and conservative therapy. Approximately 60 to 70% of affected cats can be cured or significantly improved through fullmouth or nearfullmouth tooth extraction. However, the remaining 30 to 40% of cats do not respond well to tooth extraction, often requiring lifelong treatment with antibiotics, corticosteroids, and painkillers.

Following tooth extraction, cats are restricted to a dry food diet, which severely diminishes their quality of life.

Cats that cannot undergo tooth extraction are treated conservatively, which often includes home care, antibiotics, and corticosteroid therapy.

Traditional immunosuppressants like corticosteroids and cyclosporine come with significant side effects, limiting their longterm use and leading to diminishing or even ineffective results over time.

Therefore, the clinical treatment of feline stomatitis urgently requires more effective and safer methods that can address pain relief, inflammation reduction, saliva control, antiviral, antibacterial, and ulcer healing simultaneously, to achieve better therapeutic outcomes.

After years of dedicated research and development, the BoLaiDeLi Company has assembled a team of the industry's top biopharmaceutical and drug formulation experts. They have meticulously selected a formula proven effective in treating feline stomatitis through years of clinical use. By combining this formula with BoLaiDeLi's exclusive antiinfection and immuneboosting recombinant cytokine technology, and after rigorous testing in numerous clinical cases, they have developed a new, innovative treatment for feline stomatitis: YiKouAn Stomatitis Spray.
